Multiple Choice

The Multiple Choice tool presents a graded question with predefined options. Learners receive immediate grading feedback, and instructors see how the cohort responded.

Authoring a Multiple Choice activity 

Add a Multiple Choice activity to a course via Deep Linking.
Author the question prompt using the rich-text editor (math notation is supported).
Define the answer options and mark the correct one(s).
Save and publish. See Editing Activities In Place.

The learner experience 

A learner launches the activity and selects a response.
On submission, they receive grading feedback indicating whether their answer was correct.

The instructor view 

When an instructor launches the activity, Blocks shows aggregated response statistics by option for that activity — how many learners chose each option — alongside the learner-facing question. This makes it easy to spot common misconceptions.
